• Work Based Learning – WBL enhances the career technology experience that a student receives at Vinal Technical High School. 

  • It provides juniors and seniors with real-world work experience, as well as the responsibilities associated with having a job in their chosen field.  

  • Juniors are able to dedicate 14 hours each week to their job for the 1st and 2nd quarter, if they're still in good standings by the 3rd quarter, they are able to work 4 days a week.

  •  Seniors are able to dedicate 21 hours each week to their job for the 1st and 2nd Quarter, if they're still in good standings by the 3rd quarter, they are able to work 5 days a week  

  • Employers often hire 1 Junior & 1 Senior for each shop cycle to fill a full-time position.
