February 16th- February 20th Blog Post
Mr. Cruickshank and his junior class from CJPS visited our shop to deliver the "Stop the Bleed" course to our sophomore and junior students. Students learned how to recognize and respond to life threatening bleeding with hands-on training, preparing them in case of emergency on job sites. We appreciate Mr. Cruickshank and his students for taking the time to teach us.
February 2nd - February 6th Blog Post
Junior Dalton Lynn has been hard at work building a small utility shed. He is now working of putting the finishing touches on a decorative Cupola for the top of the shed.

Juniors & and Seniors went out to unload trucks and help set up for Wreaths Across America before the annual ceremony. Wreaths Across America is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to honoring U.S veterans and their sacrifices through ceremonies which include wreath laying which is what our students volunteered to do.

Sophomores & Juniors went to Mohegan Sun Northeast Lumber and Building Material (LMB) Expo. They were able to see the current trends, materials, and had the opportunity to interact with the product representatives in efforts of continuing education.

During Phase 2 of exploratory, Freshman groups in were tasked with the layout and construction of a 2-story home. Using wood and steel, they were able to succeed in their efforts of constructing a 2-story home.

In 2022, Our students which are now seniors made a replica of the Tomb of Unknown Soldier for the Middletown Parade, which is now displayed in city hall. Now in 2025, the new Mayor Gene Nocera presented our students with a plaque that's now showed in the front of our shop.

September 10th-12th Blog Post
Freshman in Phase 1 of exploratory designed, laid out, and built a form to hold concrete in the shape of their initial. It gave them a hands-on experience of some things that they would see in the shop, providing them more knowledge in order to ultimately helping them pick their shop.
