We are excited to let you know that this year we will be using ParentSquare to communicate with you at the school, and in your classrooms and groups. ParentSquare provides a simple and safe way for everyone at school to connect. With ParentSquare you will be able to

• View the school and classroom calendar and RSVP for events
• Easily sign up to volunteer and/or bring items
To Activate your Account
You will receive an invitation email or text to join ParentSquare. Please click the link to activate your account. It takes less than a minute.
You can use ParentSquare on any device. You can download the free mobile app for Android or iOS and you can also use it from a computer at: www.parentsquare.com

The PowerSchool Parent Portal requires the creation of a single account that allows parents to view grades and attendance for their student(s) attending Grasso Tech or another CTHS. Parents should have received a letter containing a confidential access ID and password as well as instructions to create a new account (didn’t receive a letter? Contact School Counseling at 860-441-0354).
Start by opening a browser (Safari, Internet Explorer, Chrome or Firefox) and visit:
https://ctecs.powerschool.com/public/home.html
Click on the “Create Account” tab. Enter your desired user name and password. Use only the parent access ID and password provided in the letter when linking your student(s) to your account.
Once you have successfully created your account, you will access the portal using your newly created username and password.
PLEASE NOTE:
Usernames and passwords remain the same from year to year.
