How can students get involved?

You don't need to be a competitor in order to be a part of SkillsUSA!

SkillsUSA Student Advisor Responsibilities:

• Maintain consistent academic success in order to obtain permission from teachers to miss class time occasionally.

• Be in attendance at student advisor meetings about SkillsUSA.

  • • Topics including but not limited to SkillsUSA uniforms, fundraisers, community service, testing, competitions, trips, etc.

• Participate in fundraisers, blood drives, community service, and other events related to SkillsUSA.

• Coordinate and assist with advertising of SkillsUSA fundraisers, community service, testing, competitions, etc.

  • • Hanging flyers around the school.

    • Creating Parent Square posts.

    • Recruiting other students during lunch waves.

• Greet Cheney Tech's scheduled guests and show them hospitality throughout their visit while wearing the SkillsUSA blazer.

• Spread awareness and enthusiasm about SkillsUSA!
