How can students get involved?
You don't need to be a competitor in order to be a part of SkillsUSA!
SkillsUSA Student Advisor Responsibilities:
Maintain consistent academic success in order to obtain permission from teachers to miss class time occasionally.
Be in attendance at student advisor meetings about SkillsUSA.
Topics including but not limited to SkillsUSA uniforms, fundraisers, community service, testing, competitions, trips, etc.
Participate in fundraisers, blood drives, community service, and other events related to SkillsUSA.
Coordinate and assist with advertising of SkillsUSA fundraisers, community service, testing, competitions, etc.
Hanging flyers around the school.
Creating Parent Square posts.
Recruiting other students during lunch waves.
Greet Cheney Tech's scheduled guests and show them hospitality throughout their visit while wearing the SkillsUSA blazer.
Spread awareness and enthusiasm about SkillsUSA!
