Health Screenings 

All students will be screened for Height, Weight, and Blood Pressure. In addition, 6th and 8th grade students will be screened for vision and 7th grade students will be screened for hearing and scoliosis.  A student may be exempt from the scoliosis exam if we receive written parental/guardian notification. Screenings may be requested by teachers, parents, or students if there is a health concern. A letter will be sent home for further medical follow-up on any screenings that fall outside of normal parameters as defined by NJ state code.
