My experience during the pandemic has been a whole rollercoaster. I say this because in the beginning, when we were out of school early, I was thinking that it’s not that serious and that we should be back in a week or so, but I was completely wrong. We were officially out of school. I wasn’t scared; I was too focused on not having to wake up early every day and finally being outside. But that’s when everything took a turn because we were in lockdown for a few months, and I hated having to be stuck in the house because I became so miserable. The only time I could leave the house was to go to the grocery store and I absolutely hated going there, especially every day. I had close friends across the street so we would hang with each other every day and we made some fun out of the lockdown. I just remember waiting for Gov. Lamount to say that parks could open since that’s where me and my friends like to go during the summer. Before we were able to do that, my family and I would go on walks through the cemetery or down a few blocks.
