Welcome to our Community House Website
Parents have gained skills from attending our workshops and they are now transferring their skills to teach other parents in our Community House.
This project is funded by the National Lottery & Bromley By Bow Centre. At the end of the academic year 2022/23, the parents each made a square to make a blanket ( see photos). We are going to make some more blankets to donate to charity and also go in to school to teach the children watch this space !
Farjana (Parent Ambassador) facilitates our workshops on Wednesday's, teaching complete beginners and parents who just want to brush up on their skills! Farjana watched you tube video's to learn how to crochet, now she is teaching our school community the art of Crochet and sharing her skills.
We are very proud of our Parent Ambassador and would like to say a huge THANK YOU for helping making our school great! A huge THANK YOU to the National Lottery & Bromley By Bow Centre.

We have been making Crochet Celebration Cards to sell in our school shop.
This will enable us to buy new yarn to keep the class going.

Very rewarding for me, I love passing on my skills and encouraging parents and new parents to enjoy and take pleasure in knitting. They come and knit and socialise for 1 1/2 hours and then they can pick their children up from school.
