These are some important reading websites that your child will use this year in 5th grade.
* This provides a link to the online version of our reading series. Log in information can be found in your child's agenda.
This provides a link to check the reading level of books along with tracking AR points. AR points are due at the end of each nine weeks.
The IXL program provides individual practice along with skill practice on PA Standards.
This link provide a way to listen to fiction and nonfiction stories. After listening, play games to review the story or take an AR on the book you listened to.

Help to log onto school account at home using CLEVER:
We are excited to continue using Clever as our school's single-sign-on portal for all of our digital learning applications. Your child can access all of their learning programs, like IXL, Accelerated Reader, First in Math, through their personalized Clever page without having to remember multiple usernames and passwords.
To make the login process even easier, your child can log in using their school-issued Google account. Please follow the instructions below to help your child get started at home:
How to log into Clever using your child's Google account:
1. Open a web browser, such as Google Chrome.
2. Go to the Clever login page: https://clever.com/in/ctasd
3. Click the button that says 'Log in with Google'.
4. When prompted, your child will need to enter their school-provided Google email address and password. Please note: Your child must use their school Google account, not a personal one. School email addresses are students first initial/middle initial and last names @students.ctasd.org and the passwords are CT#_____ (5 digit lunch number).
5. If you are on a shared device and a different Google account is already logged in, you will need to sign out or select 'Use another account' and enter your child's school credentials.
6. Once logged in, your child will see their personal Clever portal with all the applications they use for school. Your child can choose the application they need. IXL assignments can be completed at school and at home. The Accelerated Reader application allows parents and students to track AR progress at home. AR tests are only permitted to be taken at school. Students are able to access science material through McGrawHill.
What if my child has trouble logging in?
* Check the credentials: Make sure you are using the correct school email address and password.
* Clear your browser's cache: Sometimes clearing your browser's history and cookies can resolve login issues.
