Weekly lesson plans can be found on your child's Google Classroom along with the weekly homework along with clicking the link below. The lesson plans I have provided are a guide for each day and are subject to change due schedule changes, student needs, and teachable moments. Thank you for your understanding.

Accelerated Reader: Your child is required to earn 10 AR points by reading and taking the comprehension test on the computer at school. Books can be read at school or home for this assignment. To count for credit, AR book levels will be shared at the beginning of each nine weeks and increase through the year. NO reading articles will count towards the AR points. Class read alouds, novel studies, and the Wonders Reading Program will also be permitted to help with the AR goals. An AR Goal Contract will be sent home at the beginning of each nine weeks. This is a graded assignment each nine weeks. School wide prizes and recognition will be given at the Awards Cermony each nine weeks as well.
Study Island: Your child will have graded assignments each month for Reading that must be completed by the end of each month. There is a grade scale for the assignments that point value is awarded for:
90%-100% - 5 points
80% - 4 points
70% - 3 points
Your child can try each of the assignments again to improve their score. The best score will be recorded in the grade book. Your child may also work ahead on any of the assignments.
