Most digital natives are comfortable with technology and will be more apt to take ownership in their learning through use of technology. Classroom offers numerous ways to make learning interactive and collaborative by creating different classrooms based on the activities.
This is a planned activity of a digital self-assessment PE activity. Students have to take pictures of their pose in basketball, volleyball, or any other sport. Afterwards, they get some time to assess the picture. Have them answer the following questions: what can be improved, which aspects did I do well and what did I forgot to do? By doing this digital activity, students will pay more attention to the way they throw the ball, and they will be aware of their posture. On top of that, you will also be able to find out if your students understood what they had to do.
Kahoot! is a tool that motivates and activates students learning because it can test their knowledge, reiterate important concepts, and help them retain information. It also allows instructors to create class discussions and student-to-student interaction further. It also helps to enable team talk, to encourage students to discuss their answers. This particulary relevant for questions where an answer needs to be devised, for example, math problems. Kahoot! platform can be used not only fro formative assessments, but also for interactive teaching of various learning sessions with students' response system giving immediate feedback for both mentors and student about learning achievement.
