Quick Links:
Mobile CSP has created assessments and surveys via Qualtrics that will need to be accessed via link and token. Links and tokens need to be distributed to the students by the teacher.
The survey link and individual student tokens are shared with the teacher by the research team via the SIS. The teacher is responsible for distributing to students and the Mobile CSP research team validates who has and has not completed each assessment or survey.
In BOLD Below: * Teacher is responsible for issuing the link and assigned token to each individual student.

A token is a unique password that is assigned to each individual (student or teacher) that functions as a password to access an assessment or survey. Each token is associated with the information of the person it is assigned to thus it is very important that each person receive their correct token.
In the "Survey and Exam Tokens" tab/sheet of your Student Information Spreadsheet (see image to left).
No. Do NOT reassign tokens. If there is an issue contact us immediately and we will troubleshoot the issue: mobilecsp@css.edu
The midterm covers units 1-4. We recommend that teachers issue the assessment after covering all of unit 4 which typically takes place before the end of the calendar year (December).
The final exam covers units 1-7. We recommend that teachers issue the assessment after covering all units which typically wraps up mid- to late-May.
Student end of course surveys should be issued to the students within the last 1-2 weeks of your course. Please be sure to issue these surveys before the course has ended.
1.) Access your Student Information Spreadsheet
2.) Navigate to the "Survey and Exam Tokens" sheet
Each student will have a unique token that is associated with their information. You must distribute the assigned token to each student.
3.) Locate the assessment you are issuing to students in the row at the top of the sheet
4.) Distribute link and unique token/password to each student either via email or in-person
We have created this document -- How-to Mail Merge (link)-- to help teachers easily distribute the survey to students. NOTE: Double-check that you are using the correct template - Mobile CSP.
5.) Send reminders (as needed) to those students who have not yet completed the survey.
1.) Access the assessment link by clicking it or copying and pasting into a browser
2.) Type in the unique token in the password box on the first page of the assessment
3.) Click "Next -->" after entering the token to access the assessment
Assessments and surveys are graded or verified every Tuesday and Thursday. You should send reminders to those that have not completed the survey or exams.
Teachers will receive an email once scoring information for the midterm and final exam is available.
You can access the Section(s) tab(s)/sheet(s) of your SIS to see who has and has not completed the survey.
Mobile CSP will grade assessments for all teachers in the Mobile CSP research project. The exam will be graded every Tuesday and Thursday. Please plan accordingly. Once students’ exams have been graded, Mobile CSP will upload the responses and corresponding grades to the teachers' Student Information spreadsheet.
Accuracy is a top priority for Mobile CSP. However, issues with the system and grading program may arise. Teachers should check for errors before distributing grades to students.
Access the 2021-22 Interpreting Assessment Grades and Scoring to learn more about how to interpret grading and distribute information to students.
All teachers who are registered for the Teaching Mobile CSP Forum have access to the Mobile CSP Assessment folder which contains quizzes, tests, and practice exams. All teachers who are registered are welcome to use these resources HOWEVER research participants should be aware that past years' assessments may contain similar or identical questions to the newest midterm or final.
If you are participating in the research project, we recommend that you do NOT use past midterms or final exams as practice for your students. There are additional resources you can use for practice in the assessment folder including a resource that allows you to create your own assessment.
We recommend that students review lesson vocabulary and the self-check exercises provided at the end of each lesson.
Current research participants will be able to find the PDF of the assessment below (WILL BE LINKED WHEN AVAILABLE):

Teachers will need to be logged into their email account to be able to access PDFs. We recommend using your teacher token (found in your Student Information spreadsheet) to access the exam before your students. Using your token will allow you to see the exam and questions in the same format as your students.
PDFs should ONLY be used by those students who are encountering an issue with their token.
If a student's token does not work and a teacher must use a PDF, teachers will be responsible for grading all hard copies of assessments and uploading the students' score to the "Section" sheet in their Student Information spreadsheet.
PDFs should NOT be given to students to take out of the classroom.
Please collect any exam PDFs, including graded PDFs, from students. Mobile CSP is a national program and students from all over the United States may be taking the exam at a different time than your students. It is very important that we keep these assessments as secure as possible.
PDFs should NOT be shared with anyone including other teachers in the Mobile CSP program.
We rely on our teachers who are utilizing the Mobile CSP assessments to keep these resources secure and private to ensure accurate and valid student evaluation. It is very important that teachers do not share exam resources. We have linked the PDF (below) for easy access for any teachers who may experience an issue when distributing the assessment. If others would like to view the PDF, they can request the PDF by contacting info@mobile-csp.org.
All research participants are required to issue the midterm and final exam electronically.
Instructions for issuing the electronic version of the assessment can be found above.
All students, including seniors, participating in the research project will need to complete the final exam and surveys. For more information, tips and tricks about testing seniors, please access the following document: Senior Level Testing Process.
