NUR 382 - Heath Promotion and Assessment
This course supplied me with the tools to provide safe, holistic, and patient-centered care by conducting thorough health assessments. I have learned how to collect objective data using the appropriate techniques and subjective data using open-ended questions to gather accurate health information from my clients. I have gained a robust understanding of how important it is to include factors such as religion, spirituality, culture, and health belief systems because they not only influence an individual's health, they also influence an individual's approach to healthcare. This assignment specifically, helped me understand what goes into holistic, patient centered care by asking me tp examine my own belief system to see how these factors affect me and my healthcare.
