CSI is a non-profit association, based on voluntary work, promoting sport as a moment of education, growth, social engagement and aggregation, prompted by the Christian vision of man and history at the service of the people and the territory.
Among the most ancient sports promoting associations in our country, CSI meets the demand of a sport that is not only numerical, but also qualified on the professional, human and social level. Youngsters always make up our main reference point, even if the promoted sports activities are devoted to any age bracket.
Educating through sports is the mission of CSI. This is consolidated in the procedure and conscience of the association on all levels. Sport intended by Csi can also be a prevention instrument of some particular social pathologies such as loneliness, fears, dreads, doubts, deviances of the youngest.
CSI is a sports promoting institution spread all over the national territory acknowledged by the Italian Olympic Committee (CONI). It is recognized by the Italian Episcopal Conference as a Christian inspired association.
SCF is a private no-profit organisation joining together 46 organisations managing about 100 VET centres distributed in 11 regions in the North, Centre and South of Italy. The Ministry of Labour recognizes SCF as a national training association, according to the Law n.40/87. SCF is also registered to the National Register for Research Institutes (n. H18907U) and to Cliclavoro/Ministry of Labour as national labour intermediation agency (L736S011661). SCF is certified by CSQA under ISO standards. SCF works primarily to offer a representative support and an effective coordinating action to all associates, with a specific interest on methodologies, innovation, training of the trainers, and transfer of best practices.
SCF has been participating, as promoter or partner, in 40 of EU projects and 9 still running financed by EU different funds (ERASMUS+, Interreg Italia/Croatia, Interreg Italia/Slovenia, Europe for Citizens) thus creating a network of partners in 27 countries.
Since 2001, SCF has promoted foreign mobility within the Leonardo da Vinci programme and Erasmus KA1 for 2,392 people, of which almost 1,727 young people in initial vocational training, 160 young graduates and graduates, and 529 VET professionals. In 2015, SCF obtained the CHART of VET Mobility. Since 2014, SCF has also hosted 230 EU VET Learners (in-coming projects), mainly from Spain and France; as part of the activities of transnational mobility, SCF has in fact signed strategic agreements with the Generalitat de Catalunya and the Galician Regional Government.
Since 2013, SCF has been actively involved (through its national funds) in the development and testing of ECVET tools, through the pilot initiative GORES, which includes a Toolkits made of 5 different tools. GORES approach (which is Learning Outcomes based) has been tested with about 100 IVET learners and 80 VET professionals up today.
E.G.V.E. was founded in 1954. It’s is both a professional and a scientific representative of all Physical Education aspects in Greece and it attributes to more than 9.000 members. It is the only official bearer of education and information for the Physical Education graduates in Macedonia and Thrace, extending its activities all over Greece and Cyprus.
During the last 25 years it has developed multifaceted activities, contributing to the growth of Physical Education and Sports’ image in Greece. It has assisted significantly to the scientific evolution and growth of both by holding, successfully, scientific events such as international and national congresses, symposiums and seminars on up to the edge athletic topics (20 international and national congresses, 18 symposiums, one European Congress for Fighting Doping in Sports [T.R.E.A.D. action of the E.U.’s Directorate General for Education and Culture], 4 national congresses on aerobics and numerous seminars).
The Association’s activities include –but do not limit to- the promotion of professional and scientific issues of its members, the organization of educational and festive events, as well as active participation in events with intense social character such as the battle against drug use and doping in sports and physical education and sport for the challenged ones.
E.G.V.E. is the editor and owner of the first journal on physical education and sports in Greece (“Hellenic Journal on Physical Education and Sport”, ISSN: 106-4196) -the only one published consistently on an annual quarterly sequence in the country. Additionally, a newsletter (“Physical Education and Sport”) is published quarterly and distributed free of charge to all its 9.000+ members and selected recipients all over Greece and Cyprus. Its website (www.egve.gr) provides up to the hour information on Physical Education and Sport to the thousands of visitors per year.
E.G.V.E.’s compatibility to current social and athletic trends in Greece and globally, has earned the permanent parallel collaboration of the academic community and thus it has contributed decisively to the scientific configuration of Physical Education and Sport in Greece. The various Departments of Physical Education and Sport Science of Greek Universities, the Municipality of Thessaloniki, the Ministry of Macedonia and Thrace, the Ministry of Sport, the General Secretariat of Sport, the National Olympic Committee and the Foundation for Olympic Education are some among those public and private organizations and foundations that E.G.V.E. cooperates with in great success for decades.
The Generalitat de Catalunya (Government of Catalonia) – P4 is structured in different ministries responsible for the various areas of government. The Departament d’Ensenyament (Regional Ministry of Education) is the administrative body of the Government of Catalonia in education matters and is responsible for the proposal and implementation of general non-university educational policy, training and recruiting trainers and the management of training centres. The Direcció General de Formació Professional Inicial i Ensenyaments de Règim Especial (DGFPIERE) is a part of the Regional Ministry of Education of the Government of Catalonia. It deals with all the actions involving school-enterprise links. It has the control on 45% of the pedagogical curricula for VET. In close co-operation with local companies and professional associations, the Regional Ministry of Education of the Government of Catalonia sets up training programmes for VET students and supports training centres (400 in the region). It is also in charge of the relations between the regional government and the actors involved in vocational training in the following themes: training the trainers and the revision of pedagogical path. It holds the responsibility of all the work placements, that means approximately 50,000 students involved. The Department promotes mobility projects addressed to the training centres and has made possible that in the last 5 years over 2.500 students have been involved in transnational experiences all over Europe, in programmes such POCTEFA, Lifelong Learning Program and Erasmus+.
Within the structure of the Direcció General de Formació Professional Inicial i Ensenyaments de Règim Especial (DGFPIERE), the SOERE (Servei d’Ordenació d’Ensenyaments de Règim Especial) is the area in charge of the professional studies related to sports, visual arts, performing arts (music, dance, circus and theatre) as well as language schools and artistic degrees. The SOERE is in charge of the curricular design and management procedures of the aforementioned studies and it coordinates the schools and access processes of more than 140,000 students, among which, 70 sport schools with 4,000 students ; 67 dance schools with 10,610 students; 31 visual arts schools with 4,570 students; 260 music schools with 65,262 students, 45 language schools with 54,000 students, and 8 high schools in artistic studies covering Dance, Visual arts and Design, Drama, Music and Conservation of Cultural Heritage. The SOERE main missions are: elaborating and monitoring the curricula of the different studies of the Service as well as the access procedures; fostering students, teachers and schools’ networking; catering for the links between schools and enterprises; promoting new official studies according to social and economic demands; creating bonds between these studies and mainstream education; designing and implementing the flexibility measures both for high capacity and handicapped students; and promoting and monitoring projects and networks and catering for the institutional relations among the different areas of the administration, with local administrations, stakeholders, associations, enterprises etc. In this case, the project W4AL will mainly involve three of the areas: sports, dance and visual arts.
The Secretaria General de l’Esport, through the Consell Català de l’Esport (Catalan Sports Council) - P5 develops the exclusive competencies of the Generalitat de Catalunya in the field of sports and leisure, in accordance with article 134 of the Estatut d’Autonomia de Catalunya and is the organ of direction of the Sports Administration of the Generalitat de Catalunya, assigned to the Departament de Presidencia (Presidency Department), whose competency are assigned to sports.
It is the responsibility of the Secretaria General de l’Esport to carry out the functions indicated by the Sports Law of Catalonia and at the same time to direct, through the Consell Català de l’Esport, the execution and management of the sports policy of the Government that is being developed in accordance with the following items:
The Escola Catalana de l’Esport (Sports Catalan School) was created in 1982 with the aim of regularizing and standardizing the training and certifications of Sports Technicians in Catalunya. The Escola Catalana de l’Esport has been authorized as a centre of the Education Department to teach Sports Education, VET regulated sports within the educational system, in Esplugues de Llobregat, La Caparrella and Montjuïc. The Escola Catalana de l’Esport is the centre that promotes and certifies the training activities of the technicians in the field of physical, sports and special activities in accordance with the competences that correspond to it in matters of sports, L’Estatut d’Autonomia as for the current sports legislation in Catalunya.

InterCollege is an international oriented social enterprise within the field of education, training and consultancy. InterCollege has a young international team with different educational backgrounds and interests, located across four independent offices in Denmark, Norway Germany and The United Kingdom.

InterCollege works across different sectors. In the field of VET InterCollege is working to create an international dimension of vocational education and training. Every year InterCollege is working with schools and companies to giver over 300 students a chance to get practices from Companies abroad. On top of this InterCollege is working closely with several VET-providers to internationalise and renew their institutions and educational offers.
CJD is social NGO working all over Germany on almost every issue which is related to the social sector. 9,500 full-time employees and numerous volunteers at over 150 locations provide help, support and education/training for more than 150.000 people in need each year. This work is based on the Christian conception of what it means to be human, with the vision: “Let no one fall by the wayside!” The CJD was founded in 1947 by the pastor Arnold Dannenmann. He wanted to give a fresh start to people who had been left homeless and directionless by the war by means of communal living and vocational training in a village for young people.
Since its founding, the services offered by the CJD have expanded to cover a wide range of areas: for example, it has launched programmes for highly gifted individuals, projects for young offenders with open prison sentences and aftercare programmes for former drug addicts. The CJD’s schools, workshops, crèches, nurseries and hostels have helped millions of people since the organization’s founding. The CJD is constantly expanding its services, especially in order to provide education and care to people who receive no other assistance. Accordingly, CJD staff see themselves as ‘creators of opportunities’.
The CJD Verbund NRW Sud / Rheinland, founded in 1977, where to project will get implemented, is part of the CJD e.V., is an association consisting of 8 CJD sub-locations in the southern part of North- Rhine Westphalia providing services as: elementary education and family education; academic education; child, youth and family assistance; vocational training; health and rehabilitation; work and activities; housing and care services; other services such as integration/migration & guest houses as well as international projects and exchanges, all of them aiming at helping and improving the life of other people according to their different needs.
