4-H Project Story:

I signed up for woodworking because as my brother has made many projects to bring to the fair. I  have seen how much fun he has making them and have always wondered if I could ever do that myself. A couple years ago I decided to take the first step and try it. I just made a super simple project, but ended up loving the process so much that I decided to do it again for the second time. Now I have done it for the third time, and I enjoy it a lot. I have learned so many skills from these project and I can see myself learning so much more.

My Goal(s):

My goal in woodworking is to have a nice, functional final product that I am proud of. I would also like to improve my skills and understanding of the the art.

Reflection:

My goal in woodworking was to improve my skills and understanding of the art. I believe that although I still have lots of room for improvement, I have grown tremendously, and am much more knowledgeable now. I am very proud of the picnic table that I made this year, and next year I will hopefully make something similar.
