Google Classroom is where you will declare your Topic, Learning Goal, Product Goal, and Success Criteria, and where you will submit evidence of your progress and your final report.
Your Digital Journal, within Google Classroom, is where you document evidence of your planning, applying approaches to learning skills, and achieving your Learning and Product goals. You must use your journal to document the process you follow to complete your project. In this way, you will demonstrate how you develop skills and illustrate your academic honesty.
You will usually write directly into the journal, but you can also upload files, including audio and video. You should plan to add at least one process journal entry every two weeks and add more frequently as the work you’re doing gets more intense. Your journal should be:
a place to record your initial thoughts, brainstorming, and questions raised
an evolving record of your planning, your learning, your development and application of "approaches to learning skills", and your accomplishments
a place for recording interactions with collaborators and human sources, such as teachers, supervisors, other students, family members, and community members
a place to record and annotate sources, such as web pages, videos, books, and articles, and to maintain a bibliography of those sources
a place for storing useful information, including pictures and videos
a means of exploring ideas and solutions
a place for evaluating your work completed and reflecting on your learning
