To begin, more security for schools as a policy can help avoid any situations from escalating into a bigger issue for them and everyone who has to deal with it. We believe security is a solution to avoiding more violence to occur. Security can also help with the punishments given to kids who choose to do things against their given rules. Since the security will be police officers, they will offer or give an adult like punishment so they learn their lesson. In additon scaring other kids not to follow in their footsteps.

They start to worry that their behaviors can end up in a harsh punishment, they're afraid they will be punished for something so small, leading them to become more cautious instead of feeling safer.
