There is a big problem in our community.  The problem we need to address is drugs. Drugs are a really big problem not only in the Maryvale community, but throughout the entire world. Everywhere you go whether it's schools,  gas stations, or bus stops, you can find someone doing  drugs.  

The drugs that are most used in Phoenix, Arizona is methamphetamine, marijuana, cocaine, and heroin. Also, in 2020 1,963 people overdosed in Phoenix .These drugs are commonly used all throughout Phoenix.  In 2010-2011 Phoenix was one of the top ten cities for drug abuse.  

The government should help because they could prevent the amount of overdoses that occur every year. Inside the area of Glendale located inside Phoenix more than 558,000 people that are the age 12 and older have been in connection with drugs this past year. That is why the government should help with our problem.
