All About Mrs. Delgado

I grew up in Ashland, Oregon, which is a small collage town in Southern Oregon and home to the Oregon Shakespearean Festival. I attended public schools while growing up there and I graduated from Ashland Senior High School. I then attended Southern Oregon University, where I graduated with honors, earning my Bachelors Degree in Business Administration with a minor in Art. After collage, I married my husband Bob, who is an army officer, and we spent 15 years traveling and moving across the United States and Europe with our two children, Chase and Cassie.

While living in Germany, I spent most of my time volunteering in my children's classrooms. It was while volunteering that I realized I wanted to be a teacher. When we returned from our assignment in Germany, I went back to school to get my teaching degree. I earned my Masters Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Louisville while my husband was stationed at Fort Knox, Kentucky.

I spent my first year of teaching working for a private school in Louisville, KY. After that year, a job transfer for my husband brought us to Wisconsin. During our first year in Wisconsin, I served as a permanent district substitute for the Kewaskum School District. My success with that job led me to my ultimate dream job in Campbellsport, as a kindergarten teacher! This will be my 24th year with the district teaching kindergarten! I could not be happier to be in this wonderful school and district!

In my free time, I spend a lot of time with my beautiful Portuguese Water Dogs, Maya, Brinkley, and Pumbaa. I train and show my dogs for conformation, agility, rally, tricks, water trials, FAST CAT, scent work, and barn hunt. I have also added "Dog Breeder" to my resume and we have whelped 3 litters over the past 6 years.

When I am not working or playing with my dogs, I am an avid runner and an exercise fanatic! I also love spending lots of time with family and friends.
