The SUMMER SCHOOLS organised annually by San Cayetano School are held throughout the month of July with one main objective: that the children have a great time and enjoy their holidays and, on the other hand, that they learn or reinforce their English.
The extensive timetable offered by these summer schools, together with the great acceptance by parents of the fact that the English language is reinforced (one hundred percent in English from the age of 6 and fifty percent in English/Spanish for children in Infant Education) make these "Summer Schools" one of the most successful options year after year.
The innovative facilities offered by this school make it possible to practise different sports during this month: swimming pools, basketball pavilion, volleyball, football pitch, athletics tracks, etc. All of these activities are very well received by the children.
Other activities carried out include:
Experimental workshops.
Creative workshops.
Water games.
Weekly excursions in primary school and fortnightly in junior school.
Sports activities.
Daily swimming lessons with specialised monitors, etc.
The monitors of these Summer Schools are one of the main attractions of these summer schools, as we must not forget that the children are on holiday and above all they want to have a great time in a relaxed and family atmosphere. Young, fun and experienced people.
One of the differences that mark these summer schools is the age at which they can sign up for them: from 1 year of age they can enjoy a very special month of July.
The Nursery of San Cayetano offers for this month garden activities, mini swimming pools, cooking, painting, experimentation and manipulation... without forgetting the daily practise of English.
Meals are included throughout the day: morning and afternoon snack and lunch. The canteen service is homemade and excellent with a varied menu that the children love. Parents (of pupils using the Primary facilities) have the option of eating at the school with their children (on payment of a ticket) if they wish to do so.
