FAQ's: EVALUATION

How are PD students assessed?

There are two types of assessment in the optional subjects: internal assessment (assignments marked by the teacher) and external assessment (exams proposed and corrected by the IBO). Each subject is marked with a maximum of 7 points.

In the core subjects:

Creativity, Activity and Service: A dedication of 150 hours must be accredited (No marks).

Theory of Knowledge: Students' work is marked.

Monograph: A 4,000-word monograph is written on a topic chosen by the student.

The Theory of Knowledge and Monograph are marked together up to 3 points.

The final grade: The minimum mark for the Diploma is 24 points (out of a maximum of 45 points).
