Hello! My name is Amanda Vierick. I am so excited that you will be part of our wonderful classroom community! This is my eighth year teaching and my sixth year teaching third grade at Holland Elementary. Mrs. Burdette, and I are the D-11 duo! We teach together in the same room, so get ready for a fun year!

I am married to my husband, Brian, and we have an energetic two-year old son, Mason. We are also fur-parents to our rambunctious 6-year-old dog, Sadie. When I am not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family! We love to spend time outside and are very active. Mason and I enjoy going for runs together and taking Sadie for many walks around the block. We also spend a lot of time working on projects around the house. We love Do It Yourself Projects and Mason loves to help.

We also love to be on the water and we made some awesome summer memories at the beach this summer. The picture you see on the left is from our trip two summers ago! Mason loves the beach and will run into the water as soon as we got there, just like his Mom! We also enjoy spending time on our boat and cruising down the Delaware River. When we weren't on the water, I spend time in the kitchen trying different recipes. I would not say I am a great cook, but I am trying and improving. It is always fun to learn something new!

I believe if you try your best, be kind, and work hard everything else falls into place! I am excited to build classroom community as we will work together, learn together, and have fun together!
