Music for All Summer Sessions and Leadership Lessons: https://education.musicforall.org/summer-sessions

        • Since MFA had to cancel their 2020 Summer Symposium, several faculty members have put together online sessions that are open to anybody; topics will be presented in each area of the camp: Concert, Jazz, Marching, Music Production, Colorguard, Percussion/Drumline, and Student Leadership. Available starting June 1.

  • Every Thursday at 6:00pm, Music for All and Bobby Lambert host a webinar series entitled “Patterns for Success”, focused on developing student leaders and preparing drum majors for the future. Sessions will be recorded and shared following each webinar.

Marching Arts Education’s “DCI Summer of Learning”: https://marchingartseducation.com/dci-summer-of-learning-2020/

        • Every Monday-Thursday, staff members from a different DCI corps will present 4 different virtual sessions on a variety of topics based on the DCI experience.
        • On Fridays, there are 3 weekly series: Movement for Musicians, Inside the Circle (with Carolina Crown’s brass director), and Front Ensemble masterclass.

      • Online classes will be offered from June 12th to the 17th - all classes are free and open to anyone!
      • All classes are free and open to students and educators of all ages; please register here to receive updates on the camp, as well as links to the Zoom meetings.

Midwestern Music Camp - University of Kansas, June 19-23: https://music.ku.edu/band/mmc

  • The 2022 Midwestern Music Camp, for both middle school and high school, will begin on Sundays-all campers (including commuters) check in from 10 to noon.

  • There will be placement auditions all afternoon, an information meeting and a dinner at Mrs. E’s dining hall that evening. The activities should wrap around 8:30 that evening.

  • For Monday-Wednesday, we go to an 8:30 am-5:00 pm day schedule for clinics, rehearsals and other instructional activities. The culmination of the camp ends Thursday with an open-to-the-public performance in at the Lied Center starting around 1:00, ending around 3:00 pm. Campers will go home at that time.

A variety of content will be offered, ranging from instrument-specific content to general topics that may be of interest to all campers.

Central Iowa Colorguard & Drum Major Camps: June 27-30 in Pella, IA

      • The Central Iowa Color Guard Camp is located on the Central Campus in Pella, IA.

      • It is Iowa's longest running color guard camp and has specialized in Flag, Rifle, and Drum Major instruction for nearly 40 years!
