High Potential Learners are identified so that appropriate learning experiences can be designed to develop an optimal match between learners’ strengths and abilities. This process begins with observing student characteristics and behaviors. High potential consists of an interaction of three basic clusters of human traits: (1) high intellectual ability, (2) high creativity ability, and (3) high task commitment (Renzulli).
