Academic Decathlon

Meeting Day/Time:  Once every two weeks after school (Day to be determined)

Description:  Academic Decathlon is a high school academic team competition featuring 10 events testing students' knowledge in a variety of subjects, including seven multiple-choice exams, an essay, a speech, and an interview, all focused on an annual multidisciplinary theme. Teams of nine students are divided by GPA into Honor, Scholastic, and Varsity levels, with team and individual medals awarded in a final "Super Quiz" event. It promotes well-roundedness, teamwork, and academic excellence for students of all achievement levels.
