Hi, I'm Dale.
Beyond my credentials as a Licensed and Board Certified Creative Arts Therapist, I consider myself a fellow traveler - a human helping other humans. It was my own raw and human journey that furthered my interest in the way our brains and bodies develop, direct our lives, and grow. This led me to expand my knowledge, becoming the therapist I am today - one who supports and guides others as they navigate their own paths.
Inspired by the book Speak and my high school pottery teacher, I've developed a deep passion for blending psychology with the power of artistic self-expression. As a lifelong learner and appreciator of knowledge, art, nature, and mindful movement, I'm a strong advocate for normalizing the discussion of our mental health, growing through our experiences, and encouraging intentional body-mind connection to foster more authentic living.
What invigorates me most are the sessions with clients who are truly motivated and ready to take an active role in their own wellbeing. These are the clients who come in with a genuine drive and determination to make meaningful changes in their lives. Whether it's overcoming cycles of generational trauma, confronting and healing deep-seated wounds, or rebuilding their life after a major setback or loss. No matter the specifics of their situation, these clients have a fire within them, a relentless commitment to doing the hard work required to grow and evolve. These sessions are what keep me passionate about this work, constantly in awe of the human capacity for resilience and transformation. It's deeply fulfilling work that leaves me feeling energized, recommitted, and grateful to play a role in my clients' journeys.
