In celebration of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, the campus community gathered in the gymnasium for a hybrid forum hosted by the DOST Gender and Development Unit. The event brought together all students and employees in a shared commitment to advancing inclusivity in STEM.
The forum featured inspiring stories, research highlights, and leadership insights that emphasized the vital role of women and girls in science. Participants were encouraged and empowered by narratives that showcased how determination, innovation, and leadership can shape the future of STEM.
In the afternoon, Grade 5 pupils of Ampayon Central Elementary School were welcomed for an Open House and Campus Tour. The young learners engaged in immersive STEM experiences across the campus, which also featured young girls who are achievers in their respective STEM fields, showcasing how passion and dedication can lead to excellence in science and technology.
The PSHS-CRC successfully concluded its participation in the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women and Children, held from November 25, 2025 to December 12, 2025. The campaign was organized by the Gender and Development Focal Point System (GFPS) with the aim of raising awareness, promoting women's empowerment, and advocating for an end to violence against women and children, aligned with the national theme, "UNiTEd for a VAW-free Philippines: Advancing Equality, Empowering Women".
The Gender Sensitivity Training and Orientation on the Use of Non-sexist Language aimed to enhance the understanding of GAD Concepts within the school community. The activity aimed to foster gender mainstreaming and contribute to achieving gender equality. ensuring that both women and men contribute equally to and benefit from development. The activity also includes orientation on the use of non-sexist language practices, highlighting the importance of inclusive terminology to eliminate biases, stereotypes, and iscriminatory expressions that perpetuate gender inequalities in communication and daily interactions.

Employees’ Appreciation Day was held to recognize and celebrate the dedication, hard work, and contributions of its teaching and non-teaching staff. The event served as a meaningful opportunity to express gratitude for the employees’ continued commitment to excellence and service to the institution’s mission.
The Philippine Science High School - Caraga Region Campus successfully conducted the PisAyuda: Health and STEM Outreach for senior family members of marginalized NCE qualifiers in Kitcharao, Agusan del Norte, led by the GFPS committee. The activity was carried out in cooperation with the Local Government Unit of Kitcharao, Agusan del Norte, through the Municipal Office of the Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA) under the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO).

The Philippine Science High School - Caraga Region Campus (PSHS-CRC), through its Gender and Development (GAD) Focal Point System (GFPS), conducted a capacity-building seminar workshop on the GAD Plan and Budget for FY 2026, Gender Audit, and Sex-Disaggregated Data (SDD) Management. The activity is in line with the institution's commitment to integrating gender perspectives in policies, programs, and services, particularly within the science and technology education sector.

The activity aimed to raise awareness on sexual harassment in the workplace and academic environment, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a safe, respectful, and inclusive community. It also sought to strengthen camaraderie, collaboration, and mutual trust among faculty and staff through team-building activities that foster communication, accountability, and a culture of respect within the organization.

The Philippine Science High School – Caraga Region Campus conducted a series of in-service training sessions and capacity-building activities designed to enhance the professional competencies of both teaching and non-teaching personnel in preparation for Academic Year 2025–2026. The activities, conducted over multiple sessions, included a seminar on the Rules on Administrative Cases in the Civil Service, a division-wide meeting, a personality development seminar, and breakout sessions tailored to the specific needs of each personnel group. These sessions aimed to align individual and institutional goals, foster a positive and productive work environment, and equip staff with updated tools, strategies, and knowledge essential to their respective roles.
This was a month-long commemoration honoring the achievements and contributions of women in various sectors.
