The GFPS members proudly joined the 2026 National Women’s Month Celebration Kick-off Ceremony, organized by the Regional Gender and Development Committee (RGADC) Caraga.
The celebration began with a motorcade participated in by the different regional government offices, followed by an opening program at the Caraga State University Gymnasium. The event highlighted the region’s gender programs and current status, along with insightful discussions on Gender-Fair Language, reminding us that inclusivity starts with the words we choose.
It was a meaningful and empowering start to this month-long commitment of honoring women and pushing for a more gender-inclusive society.

Philippine Science High School - Caraga Region Campus in Butuan City (PSHS–CRC) Gender Focal Point System (GFPS) representatives participated in the 2026 Caraga Women’s Summit in celebration of National Women’s Month.
During the trade fair, the PSHS–CRC booth shared National Competitive Examination (NCE) campaign materials and distributed giveaways to promote STEM opportunities and encourage more young learners, especially girls, to pursue science and technology.

This meaningful outreach brought together women’s organizations, 4Ps beneficiaries, and senior citizens for a day of learning and hands-on experience. Through workshops on candle-making, liniment production, and food preservation, participants gained practical skills that can support sustainable livelihoods.
Guided by dedicated PSHS-CRC teachers and scholars, participants actively engaged in demonstrations and produced their own outputs.
This initiative was conducted in collaboration with the Municipal Social Welfare & Development Office (MSWDO) of San Luis, Agusan del Sur, in support of shared commitments to community development and empowerment.
