At 6:00 PM on October 24th, moms, dads, siblings, and grandparents from all walks of life gathered at Bender Field to support their MASH seniors: 4 cheerleaders, 9 Football players, 12 marching band members, and 4 MASHappella singers all gathered on the forty-yard line. All 29 seniors carried flowers and smiles full of pride as they walked across their home field for the last time as students. The MASH seniors took the field like wildfire, with "oorahs" from senior football captain Zach Carr; beautiful halftime show performances by senior color guard captain and soloist Kharizma Garlick with the marching band; choreographed dance by cheer captain Kayla Schwabenbauer and her cheer squad; and touchdowns from seniors Jordan Lawrence and Jacoby Thompson, leading to a well-deserved Bulldog win of 43-30 against the Erie High Royals. Although not having the season they hoped for, they all got to go out with an ice-cold win, as snow started to fall on the field, and the team rejoiced in their win, marking the end of their high school football career.
