Presidents’ Day Trivia and Triumph

On Tuesday, February 16th, several students from Cranberry dominated the local Presidents’ Day competition.

In this competition, students are asked to identify presidents based on trivia pertaining to the presidents’ personal lives and acts while in office. Cranberry competed alongside students from AC Valley, Brookville, Keystone, and Union via Zoom.

Jeremy Hacherl, Hannah Niederriter, Trevor Olson, and Brooke Whitling took first place in the eleventh and twelfth grade division, while the team consisting of Alaina Olson, Ellabay Perry, and Colin Zerbe earned third place in the ninth and tenth grade division.

As for the junior high division, Lily Emanuele, Kayla Hanna, Kelsey Hanna, and Dane Wenner secured first place in the seventh and eighth grade division. Ella Fisher, Cooper Grams, Conner Zerbe, and Jordan Zerbe snagged second place in the seventh and eighth grade division.

Additionally, Conner Zerbe managed to earn second place in the individual high point honors with a total of 112 points.
