Halloween at CHS: A Special Time

It’s Halloween here at Cranberry High School and everyone is buzzing with that childlike spirit.
Students and staff dress up and show off their unique tastes in costumes.
Teachers, such as Ms. Hart and Mrs. Uhrinek, are well known for their outfits and Halloween spirit. This year, Ms. Hart disguised herself in a nun costume, and Mrs. Uhrinek went all out in a blow up astronaut suit.
When asked about Mrs. Uhrinek’s style choice, student, Elly Adams, commented, “It’s out of this world.”
Halloween is quite a special time here at Cranberry because it is a time to celebrate differences and express individuality.
Junior, Kara Hazlett, said about the holiday, “Building a costume is about doing what you want to do. It’s a good way to express yourself without getting judged. If you wear something that makes you feel good, you hold your head up higher.”
It’s been a great day for the Berries. We can’t wait for next year!
