This year, at Cranberry Jr. Sr. High School, the Covid protocol looks a little bit different,  compared to the previous two years.

“Compared to last year, instead of quarantining 10 days, it’s only 5,” stated high school principal, Richard Smith.

Students and staff who have covid then return to school after 5 days must “...wear a mask to school for 5 days,” stated Jaclyn Field, high school nurse.

When coming in contact with someone who has covid, you only have to quarantine if you have symptoms.

Inside school changes include, no masks or social distancing, but the school would “still like to have assigned seats,” stated Richard Smith.

As noted by Richard Smith, this year there are not as many cases and the chances of going back to masks is very slim.
