Big Fish is this year’s Cranberry Jr./Sr. High musical!

Big Fish is about a man named Edward and his unbelievable stories. He tells overly exaggerated stories which everyone loves, except his son, Will. As Will is about to have a child of his own he wants to find out the truth behind his father’s stories.

Auditions are November 13th-15th, but if you just want to be a dancer you can audition on November 20th. Callbacks are on November 24th. If you want to audition, there are forms and sheet music with links to the tracks to practice the songs outside of the chorus room. The audition judges are Mr. Yoder, Mrs.Yoder, Mr. Kosmiski, and possibly Ms. Heather Hondel. They would like to see confidence when you are auditioning. You need to look like you belong on stage, and also be open to having the judges ask you to perform something with more emotion. For example they would like to be able to say that you need to be angrier and after they tell you that you do it that way the next time you perform it. You will not have to say lines for you first auditions. For callbacks, you will have to say lines. Opening auditions you only have to sing a song depending on the part you would like. However, if you don’t want to perform you can be part of the stage crew. They help with the props and building the sets for all of the different scenes. Listen for announcements about Drama Club too!
