The district assessment will be given at the end of the year. Data will be entered into the rubric. The Renzulli Scale will be filled out for the students in the top 10% of the class as determined by the teachers and the data. Students scoring an 8 or above on the rubric will be in TAG. Students will remain in TAG until the next screening and selection process which will be completed at the end of 3rd grade.

The TAG Coordinator and teachers will look at the data and determine who should be added to TAG classes as enrichment. A child may receive enrichment services from the TAG teacher if they score high in reading, math or both areas. Children who qualify for enrichment will be more fluid, meaning they may be in for a few weeks or for much of the school year. There may be changes made throughout the year to the enrichment roster of the TAG teacher.
