7 Studentship strategies to improve grades:

1) Attend office hours - Teachers consistently say this significantly impacts student understanding and teacher-student relationships.

2) Be on time for class - Struggle with this? Set google alerts on your computer for class times, set the alarm on your phone for each class, write your schedule on a sticky note, and keep a clock handy! Pro Tip: set your alarm 5 minutes early and show up.

3) Communicate when there is an issue - for example, if you will be late to class, send a quick email! Teachers appreciate knowing what is going on because they care AND because it helps them better support you to catch up. Remember: We can't help what we don't know.

4) Respond to and ask questions - even if it is to say, "I have no idea what is going on"

5) Participate

6) Come to class prepared with work completed - if you could not complete work because you needed help understanding the content, come to class prepared with questions.
