The ultimate program:
has the most fun of all the CRLS sports. Well, at least in our opinion. 😏
teaches throwing, catching & everything else. Do you like to score goals? Throw goals? Makes diving catches and defensive blocks? No prior experience required. You might even end up starring in an ultimate highlight video.
wants you to play with us. If you don't already have friends on the team, you'll make some fast. We don't plan to make cuts.
went 29-15 in Girls D1 the last two seasons. 🥳 We have a strong returning core of players. Opponents included Somerville, Arlington, Brookline, Lexington, Lincoln-Sudbury, Newton North, Phillips Academy and Winchester. Our Girls D2 team took 2nd in the state championship tourney.
competes for four state championships each year! (Girls D1, D2; Boys D2; Mixed D1) We won Girls D2 in 2023 and finished in the top 5 in Girls D1 and Mixed in 2024. We are aiming for top 3 in D1 for 2026 and to win the D2 title.
provides a path to playing on one of over 800 college ultimate teams. There is plenty of opportunity to make new friendships and keep playing post-CRLS. Ultimate is also played in more than 80 countries by around 7 million people. To see if your potential colleges have ultimate, check out the latest women's and men's power rankings. CRLS alum now play for Amherst, Bowdoin, Claremont-Scripps, Harvard, Haverford, Middlebury, MIT, Mount Holyoke, NYU, UMass-Amherst and Yale. Top colleges are eager to accept ultimate players.
is flexible on attendance, if you need to miss practices or games for AP-exams, academics, club soccer, jobs, etc. You receive PE credit if you make 85% of events.
plays each weekday afternoon on Danehy Field 1 and enjoys ice cream after, and sometimes even during practice.
arranges our spring schedule in early February, so it is important to figure out how many teams we will have before then. Unlike other spring sports, we do not practice or play over April break. That's a big plus for those who go on vacations.
