Why Play Ultimate?
The ultimate team:
has the most fun of all the CRLS sports. Well, at least in our opinion. 😏
teaches throwing, catching & everything else. Do you like to catch goals? Throw goals? Makes diving catches and defensive blocks? No prior experience required. You might even end up starring in a highlight video promoting our favorite sport.
wants you to play with us. If you don't already have friends on the team, you'll make some fast. We don't plan to make cuts.
went 20-0 in D2 last year. 🥳 Local opponents include Somerville, Arlington, Belmont, Brookline, Newton, Winchester, etc.
competes for the state championship each year! We won D2 in 2023 and will compete for the D1 title in 2024!.
provides a path to playing on one of over 800 college ultimate teams. There is plenty of opportunity to make new friendships and keep playing post-CRLS. Ultimate is also played in more than 80 countries by around 7 million people. To see if your potential colleges have ultimate, check out the latest women's and men's power rankings.
is flexible on attendance, if you need to miss practices or games for AP-exams, academics, club soccer, jobs, etc. There is PE credit if you make 85% of events.
plays each weekday afternoon on Danehy Field 1 and enjoys ice cream after practice.
arranges our spring schedule on Feb 6th, so it is important to figure out whether we have enough players for 2 or perhaps even 3 teams before then.
