Amundsen offers the IB MYP curriculum to ALL 9th and 10th grade students. Honors-level credit can be earned in all curricular areas and select electives at all grade levels.

The IB MYP for 9th and 10th grade students is a rigorous, student-centered curriculum that supports adolescents during a critical stage of academic and personal growth. It emphasizes critical thinking, global awareness, and real-world application of learning across subject areas. Through inquiry-based instruction and skills development, students strengthen their academic foundation while building independence, resilience, and strong study habits. The MYP offers an internationally recognized framework that prepares students for success in upper-level coursework, including the IB Diploma and Career Programmes and other college-preparatory pathways.
