The CPS Social Science Department is proud to offer a range of different Experiential based Professional Learning opportunities with Chicagoland Cultural Institutions and Community Organizations. Each session is structured around modeled processes and content aligned to Illinois’ Learning Standards for Social Science and Mandated Units of Study. These sessions are incredible opportunities to learn with experts around the city, identify real world experiences to bring back to class, and connect with institutions to integrate purposeful field trips within exiting units.
