Competitive Cheer

Prosser competes in the IHSA Medium Division 

School funding and fundraising determines how many competitions we participate in for the school year. Our goal is always 6 competitions (the maximum allowed by CPS)

Does everyone on the team get to compete?

No. The official competitive team tryouts are October 28 and will determine final 16 members (and 4 alternate members).

• Anyone is welcomed to tryout for the competitive team (current or non cheerleaders). 

• You can compete on the comp team even if you don't cheer during the football or basketball seasons 

Note: Competition season starts in the middle of the basketball season. This is opportunity for Blue Team members, to step up and lead sideline cheer and performances.
