Note from the teacher
Nota de la maestra
Hello Pre-K Families,
I hope you all enjoyed the Thanksgiving Break. I want to thank the team and you for the wonderful work that you have done with the students these past months. A big thank you to Ms. Flores who stepped in when my baby girl, Camila decided to come earlier than expected. After more than two months in the NICU, she came home and I was able to enjoy time with my growing family. I came back Wednesday before the break to meet the wonderful students. This is my 8th year at Orozco, and I am very excited to be back! Please feel free to reach out by email if you have any questions or concerns.
Thank You,
Mrs. Anita Guaman

Gracias,
Mrs. Anita Guaman

If you have paper bags from the grocery store, we are working on a project and will take any donations. Please send them in by Wednesday.
This week Pre-K students will be give the option to dress up one or all of the theme days as we end and celebrate the Clothes Study. Please remember to wear uniform if you are not participating. See dates below.
You may begin to send your child with ONE TOY on Fridays for show and tell, and they will have a little bit of time towards the end of their free play time to play with their toys from home.
As the weather begins getting colder, please remember to send your child in appropriate attire, and sending them with a jacket or sweater. We do go outside to play on the playground or participate in a structured gross motor activity for our gross motor portion of the day, whenever weather permits. We are also actively teaching students how to put on their cold weather attire by themselves to promote independence.
If your child is showing any symptoms of illness, please keep them home. This helps protects other students and staff, as well as their families.
