Cross-Curricular Integration

This slide deck demonstrates ways that the 17 Sustainable Development Goals can be integrated in any classroom setting across the high school setting. This list is just a sampling of the creativity that can be done when using the SDGs as a guide.

In addition to creating units and lessons that can be done within your own classroom context, it is also possible to integrate lessons conducted with other schools (or classrooms within your own school). Inter-school (or intra-school) projects are an amazing way for students to interact with content and students outside of their own experience.

Partnering with a school in Texas, our students focused on the idea of weaving textiles across cultures and the utilization of local resources. My class was studying ancient Egypt and the other class was studying Native Americans.
