We aim for a 48-hour business day response time for emails sent to school personnel. Our main priority is quality instruction for students and we do our best to respond as quickly as possible. If you need to get an urgent message to your student, please contact the main office, as I might not be able to relay it in a timely manner.
5th Grade Promotion Policy
CPS has instituted a new promotiion policy for the 2023-2024 school year. If a student does not pass a class (Reading, Math, Science or Social Studies) with a "C " or better, they will be required to attend summer school. Please review the full promotion policy here.
Absences
Please let me know when your student is going to be absent for the day. In addition fill out this form to send to Ms. Ortiz in the main office.
