Field Trips and Volunteers

At the moment, we do not have any field trips planned. Once we plan a trip, you will be able to access the information and forms directly from this page.

We will be going on 4-5 trips this year, though, and will need parent chaperons. There are now 2 levels at which you have the opportunity to chaperon, and both need approval.

Level 1

These are the volunteers that go with us outside of the building and will be responsible for a group of students while not staying with the teacher at all times. For this level, you must have a background check AND be fingerprinted. This process takes several weeks, so if you can do this, please contact Julie in the Main Office to start the process.

Level 2

These are the volunteers who may or may not leave the building with us, but will help me and be supervise the students. This level will still require that you fill out an application and show your ID in the Main Office for copying.

Thanks for you patience with this. I know it is an arduous process, but I do believe that CPS has the safety of your children in mind as they make these rules.
