Some Ideas for your Classroom Activities!

HOUR OF CODE

Join us as we celebrate CS Ed Week with Hour of Code. There are many ways to incorporate Hour of Code into your classroom. Find an activity that fits your setting, whether in-class or after-school, in-person or virtual. Trying an Hour of Code is a simple and fun way to introduce students to computer science, perhaps for the very first time!

TEEN TECH LIVE 3.0 -
Virtual Field Trip

Teen Tech LIVE is Dream Hustle Code's Annual Event that brings together thousands of youth from hundreds of schools across America for an engaging tech/gaming-centered educational experience featuring celebrity guest appearances, powerful interviews, tech demos, real time virtual contests, a gaming tournament and so much more.

Teen Tech LIVE's goal is to create a really wonderful opportunity for more teens from under-served & under-represented communities across the U.S. to "see themselves in tech" while seriously considering the exciting new career possibilities that await them.

LOCAL CS HEROES

Invite a Computer Science professional to come and talk to your students about their career, share their unique CS journey and inspire your students. If you don’t have someone specific, you can also tune in to this virtual panel by the Computer Science Teachers Association (CSTA) during CS Ed Week.

FAMILY NIGHT!

Plan a family night for your school and community - whether in-person or virtual! Invite parents and families for a family night where you can share your school’s programs, student projects or even participate in Hour of Code. The possibilities are endless!
