What is the test?

In order for the Office of Computer Science (OCS) to provide better supports for AP CSP teachers and students, OCS asks teachers to administer a pre-test developed in collaboration with SRI International, one of the premier research institutes in the world. Combined with the score data we receive from College Board, this Pre-Test allows OCS to assess student growth, and identify areas the department can better serve teachers and students.

What is the test NOT?

The test is not a REACH assessment. Its only purpose is to provide OCS with information to help us get better at our job: helping you.

What Do I Need to Know?

• The test format is an online Google Form, and a link will be distributed over email.

• The takes approximately [HOW MUCH TIME] to administer.

OCS emails the Pre-Test Google Form link to you.

[November 1]

You have finished administering the Pre-Test to all of your AP CSP sections.

[December 1]

OCS returns your scored Pre-Test results to you so you can have more hard data about your students!
