The goal of Crane's Community Health Fair is to be a vehicle for health equity. Students and activists will share what they've learned about Chicago's 20 year life expectancy gap, its root causes in public policy, and to inspire attendees to take action for their health and those they love. We hope you will too!
Join us on Thurs, May 21st, 2026 for FREE community resources, including:
Healthcare resources and screenings: Crane students will support trained medical professionals to provide screenings for diabetes, asthma, hypertension, STIs, and offer individualized health consultations
Mobile grocery store: fill up on fresh fruits, veggies, and pantry staples. Each attendee will leave with a bag full of nutrition!
Dynamic musical performances from local artists
Therapeutic Art activities
Voter registration with Chicago Votes
Engaging athletic activities led by Sneakers to Scrubs
Peace circles: engage with student leaders on meaningful conversations on mental health, stress management, and building stronger connections within our communities
In addition to providing these resources at our events, we connect participants with existing community partners so they can continue to receive free groceries, medical treatment, and other preventative health services on an ongoing basis.
