Hello! My name is Ms. Nelson. I have previously teach 7th grade math at Armstrong. This is my second year here but my 5th year in CPS. I earned my bachelor’s degree from Northern Iowa University in Elementary Education with a math emphasis. I also graduated from Western Illinois University with a Master in Special Education. I am looking forward to this school year to make math fun and engaging! I have very high expectations for my students and in our classroom. We thrive on routines and structure to have a successful school year! I enjoy spending time outside, traveling, the beach, reading and out on a boat! Please feel free to contact me via email with any questions or concerns.
