7th Grade Science

Welcome to 7th Grade Science. My name is Mrs. Concepcion and I have taught 7th grade science at Armstrong for 4 years. Previously, I taught math and science for 5 years on the southwest side of Chicago. I absolutely love teaching and enjoy building relationships and learning through inquiry. Outside of school, I enjoy gardening, creating, and building. I am excited to begin a year of learning, growth, and success! 

This year, we will focus on Earth science including Earth systems, the history of Earth, and human impacts on Earth. In addition we will explore structure and properties of matter, organization for energy and matter flow in organisms, and the cycle of matter and energy transfer in ecosystems. 

We will use binders to complete warm-ups, activities, and engineering internships. Binders will be required to be in class every day and will be provided by me.    

Students will use their chrome books daily and must have them charged so they can engage in lessons and complete tasks.
