Central Piedmont Community College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate degrees, diplomas, and certificates.

In addition to Central Piedmont’s SACSCOC accreditation, many of the college's programs hold accreditations, approvals, or licensures from specialized accrediting associations. Visit the college catalog for our current list of specialized accreditations.

Central Piedmont offers a variety of student services across each campus location. Most general education or core classes may be taken at any campus, while many program curriculum courses are offered only at certain locations. Central Piedmont also offers several fully online programs.

Should you need to locate a co-worker’s contact information, such as their office job title, department, office location, office phone extension, etc., you can access the information by conducting a search through the college’s internal organizational chart (org chart). Please note, you will have to enter your Central Piedmont credentials to get to this page.

To search for directory information within the tool:

• Type the individual’s name in the search box on the org chart page. Their name will auto populate in the search window. Select their name for more information.
  
  (Don’t know the person’s name? Select the Magnifying Glass icon in the search box. A pop-up window will appear, giving you the option to search by Job Title or Position. Simply type the individual’s info into either box. The information will auto populate, allowing you to select the person’s title or position for more information.)

Each campus has available parking for students and faculty. Parking locations and maps are available on the Parking page of the Central Piedmont website.

Employees should refer to the Employee Parking Regulations section of the Parking page. To obtain your faculty parking pass,

• Visit the Preferred Parking site

• Select Charlotte, NC

• Select University

• Choose sign-up under the CPCC Faculty Parking option.

• Complete the Registration Information

Your parking pass will be mailed to the address you supplied during the registration process.
