Reflection:

Throughout this course section, I have gained a deeper understanding of instructional design, particularly how it relates to the learning experience of instructional designers and target learners. I learned the foundations and principles of instructional design, and I can identify different approaches to it by comparing and contrasting instructional design models. I also learned how to develop educational and instructional materials by using the instructional design model known as the ADDIE model. My experience developing an online course helped me decide that I want to be a course designer in education and utilize my knowledge to design effective courses independently or with a team. I look forward to applying and expanding my skills within this field to further advance my career as an instructional designer in K-12 education or higher education.
