Welcome to Room 116! I am so excited to be your partner in your child's education this year at Cove! This is my 17th year in education and my 7th year at Cove. I began my career in the business world and then made the best career change ever and into Education! I received a M.A.T. in general education and endorsements in both ESL and Special Education. I began in a general education classroom and then moved into a resource classroom and interventionist for both literacy and mathematics. Small group teaching is my passion and motivating my students to become confident learners.
My daughter Amanda (28) lives and works in Chicago and Morgan (25) just graduated from Nursing School at Rush.
I live in Northbrook with my husband Michael! We are empty nesters and enjoy the Cubs, bike rides, and our 4 dogs! I also take care of Sadie-our Cove Therapy Dog-when her work day is completed. She is such a joy.
My husband Michael and son Adam-he lives in CO.
Otis, our 10 month old English Golden puppy!
Willie and Crush, our two mini-doxies
